I compiled libdvdcss-1.2.10 and libdvdread-0.9.7 on FreeBSD 7.0 with
default parameters. Then I compiled mplayer without the internal dvdcss
and dvdread libraries, so it uses the external ones. When I try to play
CSS encrypted DVDs, I get the following messages:
Playing dvd://.
There are 3 titles on this DVD.
There are 1 angles in this DVD title.
libdvdread: Error cracking CSS key for /VIDEO_TS/VIDEO_TS.VOB (0x00000120)
libdvdread: Error cracking CSS key for /VIDEO_TS/VTS_01_0.VOB (0x000001e4)
libdvdread: Error cracking CSS key for /VIDEO_TS/VTS_01_1.VOB
(0x000009b8)!!
libdvdread: Error cracking CSS key for /VIDEO_TS/VTS_02_1.VOB
(0x00203adf)!!
This also happens on FreeBSD, but not on Debian lenny, if I compile
mplayer with internal dvdcss and dvdread. Mplayer's internal dvdcss is
based on libdvdcss-1.2.9. On Debian lenny, CSS decryption works.
I also filed a bug report for mplayer
http://bugzilla.mplayerhq.hu/show_bug.cgi?id=1395.
