One thing I forgot to mention - this DVD is a ripped copy on the hard
drive. I ripped it with "cat /dev/dvd > isofile"

Is there a list of DVD's that people have difficulty cracking? And is
there anything that can be done with them? I have libdvdcss 1.2.8 (from
livna - http://rpm.livna.org/), and I get the same error regardless of
libdvdread: Attempting to retrieve all CSS keys
libdvdread: This can take a _long_ time, please be patient
libdvdread: Get key for /VIDEO_TS/VIDEO_TS.VOB at 0x0000013d
libdvdcss debug: key found in cache
libdvdread: Elapsed time 0
libdvdread: Get key for /VIDEO_TS/VTS_01_0.VOB at 0x00037e52
libdvdcss debug: key found in cache
libdvdread: Elapsed time 0
libdvdread: Get key for /VIDEO_TS/VTS_01_1.VOB at 0x00038f65
libdvdcss debug: cracking title key
libdvdcss debug: read returned 0 (end of device?)
libdvdcss debug: end of title reached
libdvdcss debug: 0 of 0 attempts successful, 0 of 0 blocks scrambled
libdvdcss debug: title key is 00:00:00:00:00
libdvdcss error: fatal error in vts css key
libdvdread: Error cracking CSS key for /VIDEO_TS/VTS_01_1.VOB
(0x00038f65)!!
libdvdread: Elapsed time 0
(repeat errors for each VOB)
I used the same computer and software to play other DVD's, and this is the
first time it's happened. Are there any alternatives? (Also, I just
downloaded the source for 1.2.8 and compiled it with the same result.
Then I got the latest CVS - same errors.)
The DVD in question is Shame -

Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
